Actually, it already has. Each day we lose 4:30 minutes of daylight. That’s quite significant. In 13 days that means an hour of sunlight is lost. Since my ‘view’ consists of a rooftop that blocks most of the sun, it means the peak daylight hours in my room are about 10am to noon, and anything after that the sun is on the other side of my building. And I face north, to boot.

So I started some investigating and found this:

And in December, I can expect to experience the least sun I’ve ever seen in my life.

401 minutes of sun on December 18.  That’s less than seven hours of daylight.  I’ll have to pick up my first-class ticket to SADburgh!  Fortunately (or unfortunately?), I know I won’t be alone on that.  (Here’s to stockpiling vitamin D now.)
